3-2-1: Weekly tidbits for next level living

3-2-1: Don't choose the easy path but be lazy sometimes in your habit-forming...

3 IDEAS FROM ME

i

We, humans, are wired to choose easy, but we’re not fulfilled when we do.

We consistently feel most alive when we’re fighting to do something hard, something we’re secretly not quite sure we can pull off. The most successful people in the world are the ones that recognize this and lean into it as they chase their purpose. It’s something all of us can implement to help us get where we want to go!

ii

We overestimate the current pain and ALWAYS underestimate the future payoff.

What do you think might happen if we created a mental framework that enabled us to take back intentional control of our decision-making process? With a bit of focus, a bit of willpower, I KNOW you can do just that. Start by simply examining your decisions that are connected to the areas of your life you want to improve and rather than just “going with the flow,” invest some mental energy into them. What’s the cost now and what’s the cost later…and which price would you rather pay?

iii

Embrace “laziness” in your routines.

When pondering growth, we always think about what we can accomplish on our BEST day. Instead, we need to consider what we can accomplish on our WORST and start there.

It’s easy to dream big and have massive expectations for ourselves. The problem is that most of the time, we don’t feel like “doing all that massive stuff.” To set yourself up for success, figure out the simplest, most basic thing you can accomplish (even if everything else for the day falls apart) and start there! Putting together a long enough string of the “small things” will add up to FAR more than you realize if you remain consistent.

1 QUESTION FOR YOU

How different would your life be today if you had spent the last 12 months “getting woolly*” on the things you KNOW you need to do?
